Hebron

Hebron

Located just south of Torngat Mountains Base Camp, the community of Hebron was first settled by Moravian Missionaries, in 1830. Now a National Historic Site, this once-thriving and beloved Inuit settlement has a richly storied past of both triumph and tragedy, that will touch your heart.

Your guided tour of Hebron is an exciting full-day adventure, encompassing breathtaking surroundings, exploring the restoration project of the Moravian Church, and other historical buildings, and, most importantly, learning about the cultural importance and impact of Hebron.

This excursion will take 3 hours by boat, 15 minute by helicopter, or 1.75 hours by zodiacs. Have your camera ready as you may see polar bears, whales, icebergs and more during this excursion.
